Hayfield Dominates Eagles

Edison, flying high after 4 consecutive wins, was brought back to earth by visiting Hayfield. After a tough first half inning, the Eagles offense looked as if it was going to explode again as it had in their current 4 game winning streak in the bottom of the first. Max Miller blasted a double off of the right field fence and Daniel Plunkett smashed a double over the center fielder's head. Unfortunately for the Eagles, Hayfield's heads up defense erased Miller at third and their pitcher buckled down and stranded two runners at second and third base.
